We had a very calm and relaxing stay at South Lake Resort for 2 nights. The rooms were nice and cool when we walked in. The amenities were decent and showed room for improvement. The staff in the restaurant were lively and quick in their service. There was a limited array of food on offer in the buffet but it was enjoyable nonetheless If needed, it takes less than 5 minutes to walk (and cross the road) to the beach and a boat ride to Madol Duwa (AKA Bird Island) was very close by and would've been ideal for anyone who is interested.
Had a great stay and experience at South Lake Resort. We stayed for one night with our group of 17 people. really enjoy the vacation with colleagues and their families. Wonderful place with pool and calm evenings plus friendly staff. Thank you.
Visited down south for a one night stay. Rasika and team were very helpful. The location is right next to the lake/river. Our rooms /cabins overlooked the pool and was a nice place. The resort is welcoming and cozy. Rasika helped to arrange for a boat ride to see the beautiful lake and islands and was something different to being at the beach. Room amenities were great and the breakfast had everything covered from local to international cuisine.
It was a a pleasant stay. Rooms were comfortable. What I liked most is the hospitality of the staff. Very attentive. Great food. no disturbance, Easy access to the hotel, Loved the ambience inside. Good for families.
Hotel is really a nice, calm and quiet place. Foods, rooms, pool, room service and staff is really excellent. They have their own boat service to travel on koggala lake, madol duwa and other islands whice is reasonable and also safety. Also this is a ideal place to start on koggala lake boat trip because hotel is one side face to lake. If you cross the galle, mathara road, you can enjoy the nice sea.
It was a wonderful stay at south lake resort. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Food was excellent. Superb staff and they were really supportive and reaponsive. Wonderful atmosphere... Had a lot of fun at game zone too.. Thank you very much.. ????????????
Spent a wonderful day out with my school friends there. The foods, pool, and staff are really excellent. We will definitely come back! Highly recommended.
