OUR PET POLICY (FOR HUMANS)
At South Lake Resort, your pets are always welcome. While the Resort does not require a deposit, there are some rules listed below you will need to follow during your stay. In addition to our rules, you are also responsible for being in compliant with all local laws and regulations.
We kindly ask that all guests traveling with pets follow these guidelines:
We love all kinds of animals, but only domesticated pets like cat and dogs, are allowed to stay at Southlake Resort. Please note, dogs shall not weigh more than 25 kg or 55 Lbs.
While our rooms are spacious with a balcony, only one well- behaved family pet (dog or cat) is permitted unless prior consideration is requested and approved by the General Manager of the resort.
Service animals are always welcome!
Pet must be declared during guest registration and you will need to sign a Pet Policy Agreement – kindly complete the above registration for your pet and read and sign the Pet Policy Agreement on the reverse side of this page.
Be sure to keep your pet at all times on a leash (leashes up to 6 feet are allowed) or a carrier when outside the room.
In consideration of all Southlake resort guests and the safety of all, pets must never be left unattended in the guestroom, we provide a dedicated kennel for your pet if you intent to go to the restaurants or wish to leave your pet loose for a little time.
In consideration of other guests and when you walk your pet on the property, please be considerate and clean up after your pet and keep them within your control at all times. If your pet is a cat and staying with you, please request upon check-in a litter box, we are happy to provide you. (They poop, you scoop)
With the exception of authorized service animals, pets are not allowed in any food and beverage area and pool, however, your pet on a leash or harness would be granted access to our waterfront restaurant patio subject to approval from the General Manager.
Please contact our Housekeeping department to make arrangements for room cleaning. Because we cannot clean your room while you and pets are present, we suggest you schedule a time during the hotel’s normal cleaning schedule for us to clean while you and pet are out about. (Maybe this is a good time to think about a walk in the garden or a stroll on our very own beach!)
We count on you to prevent your pet from making excessive noise, being disruptive or aggressive to other guests. If your pet is deemed dangerous, harmful or disruptive, the resorts management has the sole discretion to require you to find other accommodations without refund. The hotel also reserves the right to contact animal control to have the pet removed.
